As a student herbalist on this journey, I’ve fallen in love with so many herbs that have changed my life! Red raspberry leaf is one of my favorites and a must have in my apothecary + kitchen. It is believed to tone and strengthen the uterus, enhance fertility, combat PMS symptoms, & reduce inflammation. It also contains vital nutrients that support a healthy pregnancy.
I often drink the tea as is, being that the herb has a lovely light & delicate flavor but when I’m wanting a little extra treat I whip up one of these babies. It’s the perfect late night treat to curb those PMS cravings as it’s equally nutritious & delicious!
Red Raspberry Leaf Tea Latte
Recipe Type: Beverage
Author:
Total time: 15 mins
Serves: 1-2
- 1 teaspoon organic red raspberry leaf
- 1/4 cup raw cashews or nut butter
- 2 pitted dates
- 8 oz spring water
- 4 oz milk (of choice, I use cashew)
- 1 pinch of cinnamon (optional)
Instructions
- In a tea kettle, bring spring water to a boil and seep red raspberry leaf herbs for 10 minutes.
- While the tea is seeping, add all the other ingredients to the blender, except for the cinnamon.
- Strain and add the tea to the blender. Pulse the blender until everything is nice & frothy.
- Pour into your favorite mug and sprinkle on the cinnamon. I sometimes take a toothpick to make a design with the cinnamon like a true latte. Enjoy!
