The divine feminine is not just a vibe, it’s a ritual. And nature has always been our sacred space. Before summer slips into the soft amber glow of September, give yourself permission to return to nature as your temple and your mirror. Below are three ways to reconnect with your goddess essence while the sun still lingers

1. Go to a Natural Water Source and Take a Plunge
Let Yemaya, the Mother of the Ocean, wash away what no longer serves you. Whether it’s a river, lake, ocean, or hidden waterfall, immerse yourself. Let it feel like a baptism. Release old lovers, limiting beliefs, and stagnant energy.

This summer, I returned to the water and to myself. There’s a magic that happens when a woman lets the elements love on her. I let the ocean bless every curve, and as I walked out, I felt more than just refreshed…I felt reborn.

2. Take a Nature Walk and Journal in Solitude
Let your steps be slow and intentional. No music, no phone calls, just you and the world around you. Listen to the trees, the birds, and your own thoughts. Bring a journal and write down what surfaces. Nature has a way of revealing the truths we’ve been too busy to hear. A hobby of mine I most recently got into is birdwatching and observing other critters in nature. It’s so fascinating seeing all of the pretty colors in their feathers and how peaceful they are in their natural habitat.
3. Make Something Sweet & Seasonal
Treat yourself to something beautiful and delicious using summer’s bounty, like my Dream Girl Era fruit parfait. Think layers of ripe seasonal fruit, creamy yogurt, and a drizzle of honey. Take your time making it pretty. Enjoy it slowly, outside if you can, letting every bite remind you of the sweetness in slowing down. Here’s the recipe if you want to give it a try!

Final Thought
Nature always calls us back home to ourselves. Summer may be fading, but her magic is still here. Touch the water, walk with intention, taste the sweetness, and let your divine feminine feel full and nourished.
